Eat It, Al

Welcome to the new Ice Age. Despite the fanatical and apocalyptic claims from the likes of Algore and other leftist barking moonbats, we continue to see more evidence that all of us “Holocaust Deniers” were right all along. From the National Post:

“Snow cover over North America and much of Siberia, Mongolia and China is greater than at any time since 1966.”

Now, before the moonbat element enters in their claims that abundance of snow is an indicator of warming (I always love that argument), read further:

“The U.S. National Climatic Data Center (NCDC) reported that many American cities and towns suffered record cold temperatures in January and early February. According to the NCDC, the average temperature in January ‘was -0.3 F cooler than the 1901-2000 (20th century) average.’”

Then, there is the Arctic Sea ice for which moonbats were dressing in black in honor of its certain demise:

“Gilles Langis, a senior forecaster with the Canadian Ice Service in Ottawa, says the Arctic winter has been so severe the ice has not only recovered, it is actually 10 to 20 cm thicker in many places than at this time last year.”

It looks like the “consensus” is dwindling every day as well:

“‘We missed what was right in front of our eyes,’ says Prof. Russell (Joellen Russell, assistant professor of biogeochemical dynamics at the University of Arizona and prominent climate modeler). It’s not ice melt but rather wind circulation that drives ocean currents northward from the tropics. Climate models until now have not properly accounted for the wind’s effects on ocean circulation, so researchers have compensated by over-emphasizing the role of manmade warming on polar ice melt.”

Or, in other words, all of the “science” of Global Warming Hoax is based on bupkis. All wrong. Not even close to correct. Scientists from around the world are waking up too:

“Last month, Oleg Sorokhtin, a fellow of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, shrugged off manmade climate change as ‘a drop in the bucket.’ Showing that solar activity has entered an inactive phase, Prof. Sorokhtin advised people to ‘stock up on fur coats.’”

Wow – the Sun is the driving force of our climate? Who would’ve thunk it? So, this makes me wonder if Algore’s next “documentary” will be about how man has created this Global Cooling Crisis. If so, expect him to win another Nobel Prize. Nice try, lefties. Once again, actual facts get in the way of your socialist agenda.

It is at this point that I would like to review some of the more comical assertions from the recent past:

December 4, 2007: Several major headline stories including “scientific” quantification of the effects of divorce on global climate, NBC’s anchor Brian Williams naming “Mother Earth” as person of the year, a Senate bill to levy extra taxes on any business that emits carbon dioxide (in other words, every business), and my favorite: the effects of burning Hanukkah candles on the environment.

May 7, 2007: those of my long-time and regular readers might recognize the name Hugo – an acquaintance of mine who occasionally drops insanely leftist screeds here. On this article discussing an environut claiming that we must eliminate 4.5 billion people from the Earth in order to save it, Hugo had some fun comments to revisit: “If you think that global warming is a hoax, you’re smoking crack”, “Actually, the evidence about global warming and the forecast about the climate in the future are a lot worse than the MSM and Al Gore care to think about”, and my favorite from the bunch, “I don’t know why most Bushbots/conservatives have their head in the sand on this issue”.

Expect liberals to try and get out in front of this with excrement like this:

“Global warming can cause global cooling”

I suppose that assertion would make sense to me if only my head wasn’t in the sand on this. Just the same, assuming Hugo is right about where my head is at, I still get much more sunlight than where his head is at.

Rebuttals:
The liberal socialists will never tire of finding new ways to impose taxes that will hurt economies around the world. their scare tactics should have become obvious by now to anyone with half a brain. When your freedoms are gone and your out of work it will be to late. Wake up people!!! Common sense is an asset only if you use it.

When your base of voters is the lowest echelon of society, the easiest discourse is to foster the feelings of disenfranchisement that come with knowing others have more than you. It is the broad appeal of the theory of Marxism: “fair for all”. What those people refuse to accept is that this type of society always ends up being “fair for none”.
